Running

I am very excited that my running has really improved.  I have to admit that I have been babying my injured foot for 3 years now.  The tendons on the top of my foot were cut and had to be sewed back together.  I know 3 years is  bit ridiculous, but I still tremble when I think about how awful it was and it is still very tingly and sensitive to the touch.  But I decided that I was ready to run 3 weeks ago.  I have been cycling for a year, swimming for 2 years regularly, and I thought if I could get the running down, it would be so empowering to do a triathlon.  So now I am 3 weeks into this and I am consistiently running every other day for about 2 miles.  I am so happy to be improving so quickly.  I have scheduled a 5K run for Labor Day weekend and I will be ready by then.  I have been steadily adding more distance to running and I will concentrate on my increasing my pace very soon.
